I know that I'm not a great artist so I may not be the best judge, but it seems to me as though most great art these days is sidelined. If you spend time working on anatomy, perspective, worrying about shadows and detail, then you are an illustrator, you create beauty and it somehow disqualifies you. Then you have people who daub paint on their anus and fart toward a canvas and make millions of dollars. Am I wrong here or does someone need to create time travel so we can take out Andy Warhol as a baby? What happened to craft? What happened to beauty for the sake of beauty? Does your art have to suck for you to be taken seriously? I would like to see a new artistic movement, where people say, "I'm going to create something beautiful, and I don't give a damn about some art snob critics". Who decided that this is how art is supposed to be? It's new, that's why it's called modern art. We are in a doldrum of the soul. We have allowed the the wardens to take over the crazy house. We are letting the sad normal people dictate to our creative insanity. Today I am planting a flag, on the old world of creativity that has been passed by and forgotten, like an explorer discovering air. What is this thing? What am I breathing? It tastes like?... righteous indignation... Anti-Warholism. Screw your cubes, Your minimalism can suck it, Your white on white?... suck on suck. Expressionism?.. suck on these'ums. I am fed the f**k up. I am an Anti-warholist, I spend days sketching before I drop an ink line, and I am glad, I spend way to much time on every piece I do, and it will never get in a gallery, and that doesn't piss me off, because I suck, but I don't intend to keep sucking. And when I finally feel as though I'm doing something worth while, it still won't get in a gallery because I'm not farting on a canvas... and that kind of pisses me off. There are so many talented artist out there doing awesome things, but they will never be on the cover of time magazine, because they aren't whores, and there is nothing I can do... right? WRONG... you've just been indoctrinated, if you are listening to my rant, YOU are an Anti-Warholist, you feel my pain, so step up, let people know when they are full of crap, proudly declare yourself as an Anti-Warholist, it only works if nobody stops it, the Emperor isn't wearing clothes, and we are all a bunch of cowards if we don't do something about it.... How can you not call that out? I feel like I just dropped a rant about the sky being blue.

Spacedogs Update
Well that's a wrap on issue 4. Hope y'all enjoyed the ride as much as I enjoyed driving this crazy train. There will once again be a brief hiatus while I get this issue all formatted and printed up. I'm sorry to see Bor go, he was a good guy, and Mickey and Boyo are damn short on friends these days. But life goes on, whether you want it to or not, and life is about to take a whole new direction for our heroes(?) well main characters anyway. Spacedogs will return with issue 5 "The ghost in the machine", however... (yeah I know, feel free to be pissed at me)... I will no longer be doing scheduled updates. I've got other things I'm working on an
Devious Journal Entry
For the fans out there, both of you, I swear I'm still working on Spacedogs. The new page is 95% done, but I went on vacation and got a new colorist (the new pages are looking awesome) and I've been re-lettering stuff, and the new page is a beast. Nine panels, my normal average is four. I won't have a new page tomorrow but next Monday I will and then I should be on track to wrap this chapter up. You can check out the new colored pages in my gallery or on my website http://www.artbyvince.org/ this ones going extra long, it's eight pages longer than a normal Spacedogs issue, but well worth it. I'm super excited to show y'all where this ones goi

Me too. I have always hated Warhol. You know he was on an episode of the Love Boat. With Tom Bosley. I think that disqualifies Warhol as a serious artist.
